I think that recipes, with which I can recreate a popular (and really tasty) commercial treat are my favourite. It just feels so easy, good and just right when I can resist midday or evening temptation with a more healthy alternative, and do it in only couple of minutes.
Today I found and used a recipe for healthy Raffaello shake – oh yes and it was delicious. There were only a couple of ingredients needed and a nutritious substitute was ready. Go ahead and try – you will not regret it:)


Ingredients:

  • 1 banana
  • 200ml of almond milk
  • 15g of desiccated coconut
  • 1/2 of vanilla bean

Preparation:

  1. Scrape out the seeds from vanilla bean.
  2. Blend all of the ingredients together.

I have added a bit of 90% dark chocolate (I use Lindt) on top of the shake – this step is not necessary but feel free to do so if you love chocolate:).
